The Faculty of Humanities, Health, Sport, and Societies (H3S) at the Université Grenoble Alpes organizes a thematic school designed for undergraduate students, offering them an introduction to the specificities of industrial professions in a unique setting: cleanrooms.
The “Cleanrooms” Thematic School, led by Pierre CAVAILLES, is a training initiative supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, in collaboration with Kérimedical and Vivacy. The educational approach is based on two key pillars: acquiring theoretical knowledge in the morning and developing a collective response to a challenge posed by one of the partner companies.
The ARCHPARC business park and the European Scientific Institute (ESI) provide an enriching environment that fosters an immersive and intensive training experience, in direct contact with economic players deeply rooted in a dynamic region.
Programme
The program covers the following topics :
- “Did you say cleanrooms?” Objective: Definition, standards, applications, diversity—an overview
- Presentation of challenges by each company
- Visits to the companies’ cleanrooms
- Initiation of group work
- Lecture: “Understanding regulations”
- Group work session
- Lecture: “Organizing work in a constrained environment: a logistical challenge”
- Group work session
- Progress review with the company supervisor at the end of the day
- Group work session
- Lecture: “Designing a facility to accommodate a cleanroom”
- Project presentations before the jury
