European School of Instrumentation
in Particle & Astroparticle Physics
ESIPAP 2022
Given the ongoing uncertainty regarding the world-wide public health situation, ESIPAP 2022 will take place in remote format. The programme has been adapted accordingly, taking into account feedback gathered from students and faculty following the successful 2021 on-line edition. To ensure the best possible learning environment, places are limited to 30 for each of the two courses. For logistical reasons, only 15 students will be able take the examinations for each course. Priority will be given to Master students from partner universities.

Course 1 (17 Jan - 11 Feb 2022) : Physics of Particle and Astroparticle Detectors

1 four-week course

Course 2 (14 Feb - 11 March 2022) : Advanced lectures & Applications

4 separate one-week modules

  • Module 1 - Advanced lectures on Detectors

  • Module 2 - Data Handling & Offline Computing

  • Module 3 - Advanced courses & Labs

  • Module 4 - Medical Applications
