Hector Garcia-Morales

He graduated in Physics at the Universitat de Barcelona and obtained his master degree on Particle Accelerators where he started collaborating with CERN in the CLIC project. After attending to JUAS in 2011, he started his PhD in the Accelerator and Beam Physics group at CERN working on the Final Focus System for Linear Colliders. During his PhD, Hector obtained a master degree on Science Communication.

 

Currently he is working on the optimization of the LHC collimation system towards the HL-LHC upgrade. In parallel, he also participate in many outreach and educational activities at CERN including JUAS, where he joined in 2017 as tutor for MADX tutorials and additionally for Transverse Dynamics, in 2018.
