Dr. Guido Sterbini

Dr. Guido Sterbini - He graduated in Electronics at the Università di Roma "La Sapienza", studying applied electromagnetism for particle accelerators and taking part as student in JUAS2004. He awarded a Ph.D. in Applied Physics at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in a work sponsored by CERN on the High-Luminosity LHC. As postdoc at CERN, he was involved in the studies of the CLIC decelerator and CLIC Test facility.

 

Since 2012 he is working at CERN. His main area of study are the collective effects in the CERN Proton Synchrotron and the beam-beam effect in the present LHC and future HL-LHC.
