The Joint Universities Accelerator School (JUAS) opens at ESI Archamps on 8th January 2018 for its 25th session.
57 students – Master, PhD or professional – from 18 countries will attend part or all of the School, a unique program taught by 52 experts from the JUAS Partner Universities, European research institutes and CERN. Course 1 focusing on The Science of Particle Accelerators will run until 8th February. Course 2 on The Technologies and Applications of Particle Accelerators will follow on from 12th February to 16th March.
This year, the Opening Lecture will be delivered by Philippe Lebrun, director of the School on Particle accelerators, instruments of discovery in physics.
All students and lecturers are looking forward to an exciting program of lectures, tutorials, practical sessions and laboratory visits in the coming weeks.
